Something About WPSApp Pro App

WPSApp Pro is an application that checks the security of your network by using the WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) protocol. The app allows you to connect to a Wi-Fi network by entering an 8-digit pin number, which is typically preconfigured in the router. However, many routers from different companies have known or calculable default pins, which can make the network vulnerable.

The app uses these known or default pins to test the connection and determine if for pin generation and also includes some default pins. Additionally, WPSApp Pro can calculate the default key for certain routers. The app provides features such as viewing stored Wi-Fi passwords on your device, scanning devices connected to your network, and analyzing the quality of the Wi-Fi channels.

Using the app is straightforward. When scanning for nearby networks, you'll see different symbols indicating their security status. Networks with a red cross are considered "secure" because they have disabled the WPS protocol and their default password is unknown. Networks with a question mark have the WPS protocol enabled, but the pin is unknown.

The app allows you to test the most common pins in these cases. Networks with a green tick are likely to be vulnerable because they have the WPS protocol enabled, and the connection pin is known. It's also possible for a router to have WPS disabled, but the password is known, and such networks appear as green and can be connected to using the known password.

Please note that viewing Wi-Fi passwords requires root access on your device. Additionally, connecting to networks on Android 9/10 and accessing some extra functions may also require root access.

It's important to understand that not all networks are vulnerable, and the appearance of a network as vulnerable does not guarantee that it is indeed vulnerable. Many companies have released firmware updates to fix these vulnerabilities in their routers.

If you find that your network is vulnerable, it is recommended to take immediate action. Turn off the WPS feature on your router and change your password to a strong and unique one.

Please be aware that the misuse of this application, such as unauthorized intrusion into other networks, is against the law, and the app developer does not take responsibility for any such misuse.

Starting from Android 6 (Marshmallow), the app requires location permissions due to a new requirement imposed by Google. For more information, you can refer to the link provided in the app's description.

It's worth noting that some Samsung models may show encrypted passwords instead of the real passwords, appearing as long series of hexadecimal digits. You can search for information on the internet or contact the app developer to learn how to decrypt them if needed.
